Following our successful year we are now offering excellent career opportunities for an EXPERIENCED JEWELLER (ASIAN JEWELLERY). We are looking to recruit a truly dynamic and enthusiastic goldsmith to join their vibrant and thriving team.

You must be skilled and experienced for at least 5 years in making exquisite Asian ladies jewellery. You must an expert in making choorian (ladies 24 carat bangles) and a person of highest ethical standards. You must be honest, reliable and trustworthy as you will be dealing with precious metals and stones. If you think you have got what it takes then we must meet.

POSITION: GOLDSMITH
Essential Requirements you must have:-

• Specialist experience of working with all types of metal including 24 carat gold and   platinum.
• Top quality setting skills of creating fancy shaped South Asian Choorian
  and other ornate jewellery
• Experience in sizing, repairs and polishing South Asian jewellery
• Ability to achieve continuous improvement in quality and productivity
• Able to undertake all other duties that are assigned

Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years experience of working within this field
• Apprenticeship portfolio in Asian gold craftsmanship
• Verifiable reference of expertise in this field
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure
• Strong work ethnics and commitment in providing excellent quality service
• Be punctual and regular attendance
• Be polite and courteous
• Ability to speak Asian dialect including Pakistani Punjabi and Urdu

Remuneration £20,000

Om Jewellers, specialists in Goldsmiths, seek a TRADITIONAL GOLD CRAFTSMAN to assist in the gold workshop.

The potential applicant must:
•  Have a professional qualification/appentriceship in gold craftsmanship
•  Have at least 3 years in filigree work Have a verifiable reference of expertise in this field

The duties of the gold craftsman include:
•  Making handcrafted designs onto gold
•  Doing filigree work onto the gold
•  Handcrafting designs onto gold in accordance with customers’ personal choices

In return, Om Jewellers offer:
•  An annual salary of £16,000
•  Free accommodation
